This is a report I generated from Elicit.
What is Elicit? Google AI says "The Elicit platform is a research assistant tool that can help find academic papers, and the "AI Adoption Challenges in Nonprofits" report is not a specific Elicit-generated document but a topic that research shows is addressed in various industry reports, studies, and articles, highlighting key challenges such as high costs, lack of AI expertise, data privacy concerns, resistance to change, and ethical considerations like bias and lack of trust in AI systems." You can generate reports too!

Paper "Decentralized Altruism: How Solo-Founder AI-Driven Nonprofit Mode (SFADNM) With Anarchist Principles is Reshaping Nonprofits in the Digital Age, by Yujia Zhu, Sofia University, Costa Mesa, USA", 2025 - here.
-
I haven't read this yet. From the brief "This study introduces the Solo Founder AI-Driven Nonprofit Model (SFADNM), an emerging paradigm that leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to decentralize nonprofit governance, eliminate financial dependencies, and scale social impact without monetary transactions or hierarchical oversight. Grounded in anarchist principles of self-governance, mutual aid, and autonomy, SFADNM challenges the Nonprofit Industrial Complex (NPIC) by demonstrating that a single founder, supported by AI automation, can sustain a nonprofit organization without external funding, paid labor, or institutional support."
